Why Taqwin

Iraq's projects deserve international engineering. International companies need someone in the room who understands both.

Operators in Iraq buy from contractors they can hold accountable locally. International technology companies need a partner that can evaluate a scope, qualify a vendor and manage a program to their standards. Taqwin sits in the middle by design — an engineering company, not an intermediary.

For operators & EPC contractors

Engineering you can question

FEED and feasibility studies, financial models, design reviews and technical bid evaluations prepared to international standards, by engineers who will sit across the table and defend them.

For international companies

A structured way into Iraq

Representation, registration, tender qualification and proposal support — with execution through an established Iraqi contractor, so your capability arrives under a contract the operator can sign.

How we work

Program discipline, U.S. based

One point of coordination in Bellevue, Washington: scope definition, schedule, vendor coordination, quality and risk — so the engineering, the procurement and the field work move as one program.

Services

Four things we do, and do properly.

Each service stands alone. Together they take a project from an idea to a contract an operator can award — and then to start-up.

01

Engineering & FEED Studies

Concept, feasibility and FEED for processing, power and gas-recovery projects, with the financial model beside the engineering.

The platform

One Iraqi contract. International engineering behind it.

How a project moves through the Taqwin platform — from an operator's need in Iraq to international technology and engineering, and back to the field under a single accountable contract.

The demand side

Operators, NOCs & EPC contractors in Iraq

Production facilities, refineries, power, well services. Scopes that need engineering, technology and a contractor who will be there.

What does Taqwin Engineering do?

Taqwin Engineering is a U.S.-registered engineering and program-management company in Bellevue, Washington. It reviews engineering, qualifies vendors and runs programs for energy projects in Iraq, and it coordinates international technology partners — SERTECPET among them — with Iraqi field execution through Green Fields Oilfield Services.

Is Taqwin an agent or a broker?

No. Taqwin does not resell equipment or introduce parties for a fee. It adds engineering judgment — studies, design review, technical bid evaluation, vendor qualification and program management — and structures partnerships so that international capability is delivered in Iraq under an accountable local contract.

How does an international technology or service company enter the Iraqi oil and gas market with Taqwin?

Taqwin assesses the fit of the company's technology to Iraqi operators' needs, structures the representation or partnership, arranges local registration and execution through Green Fields Oilfield Services, screens tenders and coordinates proposals. SERTECPET's exclusive representation in Iraq is the working example.

Where is Taqwin located?

Head office at 11900 NE 1st St, Suite 300, Bellevue, Washington 98005, USA, with an Iraq presence in Al Zubair, Basra through its partner network.

Bring us the problem before the tender.

The earlier we see a scope, the more engineering judgment we can add — at concept, at FEED, or before a bid is priced. A first conversation costs nothing.
